The small isolated cone on the Tokotan Isthmus adjacent to the Sea of Okhotsk (left) near the center of this Landsat image is Rudakov volcano. The 542-m-high basaltic-andesite stratovolcano lies between Petr Shmidt ridge (upper right) and Krishtofovich Ridge (lower left) in central Urup Island and is capped by a 700-m-wide, funnel-like crater containing a 300-m-wide lake visible in this image.
