| Mount Amorong is the only one of a cluster of small trachyandesitic lava domes and diatremes at the northern end of the Luzon Central Plain that displays solfataric activity (Wolfe 1982, pers. comm.). A K-Ar date of about 1.14 million years was obtained from the Amorong complex, which lies along the Eastern Bataan volcanic lineament. | |||
